Anfield At The Emirates

Anfield at the Emirates has not a lot to do with Arsenal, but is a view of Liverpool F.C bought to you by someone from the Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

I'm a huge fan of the team since a long time, and talks of DIC taking over was enough to drive me wild. Although still waiting for some updates on that, DIC hasn't entirely given up on the team, it still is a possibility.
Not a lot of people support Liverpool in this country, but fans aren't rare. Yes, there are a lot of United lover's here, but honestly, it's more just the glory and influence of Cristiano Ronaldo that draws them in.

They don't know much about football. They claim Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world. I'm an 18 year old girl who's not great with the football knowledge butI can tell you that isn't true. I'm not easily influenced by looks or a few tricks.
A great player, in my opinion is someone like Ian Rush or Maradona. They didn't remain famous for just a couple of years, they left their mark. For me to compare Ronaldo to the likes of Ian Rush or even the Brazilian Ronaldo is down right outrageous.

Jamie Carragher. Recently I was approached by someone who said, Cristiano is better than Carra. How can that comparison even be made? I'm a huge fan of Carra, I respect him, I look up to him.
Firstly, they play two different positions ,and different games, but Carra wins this arguement quite easily.
Jamie is a proffesional, he has integrity, he's loyal. The fact that he has stayed at Liverpool for his whole career is admirable. Unlike Ronaldo, he does not throw tantrums, dive, cry and show disrespect to the club he plays for. When Ronaldo plays more than 500 games for one club, when his team wins the treble, and UEFA cup the way Carra's did in 2005 , we'll have another similar discussion.

Istanbul. One of the greatest days of my life. Bad start, brilliant end. Liverpool definately has big moments in it's history, but none like this day.
Stevie G and Jamie Carragher with the help of Dudek and the others , made this game unforgettable.

Anfield. Is my dream. To get there, to see my heroes do what they do best, would be my dying wish. There's nothing I want more than that. Surrounded by a sea of red, supporting the greatest, most successful team in the World... that's where I belong.

But for now...
This is Anfield.
